From time to time, we will offer discounted or free shipping promotions. These promotions apply to orders shipped within the United States only during the Promotional Period. Orders meeting the criteria of the promotions will automatically receive the promotional shipping rate. Please note that if you need to return a product or products orders with the promotional shippng and the the return causes your order to drop below the minimum order amount for the promotion, your refund credit will be issued minus the actual shipping charges incurred to send your order.
Our primary shipping is to addresses in the United States, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, Canada & Mexico. We do offer international shipping to most destinations. Rates vary greatly and we do our best to offer a fair quote. If after placing your order, we find that your item cannot be shipped for the amount charged, we will contact you via the e-mail address you provided upon creating your account with an updated shipping quote. We cannot guarantee time frames on International Orders. While most orders arrive within 6-10 business days, delays in customs can occur and are completely outside of our control. We only accept payments in US dollars. However, PayPal makes international payments in different currencies very simple. Ownership of products transfers to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
Most orders ship (leave our warehouse) within 1-2 business days from the time the order is placed. Business days are weekdays Monday - Friday and DO NOT include Saturdays, Sundays or US Holidays.
CUSTOMS AND DUTY FEES
Customs and import duties are charged to the customer once the package reaches the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer, and will vary from country to country. Customs and import duties are NOT included in our shipping charges. We have no way of estimating or anticipating fees that may be assessed by the receiving country. We will not mark your package as a gift.
US EMBASSY AND CONSULATE SHIPMENTS
Packages shipping to U.S. Embassy or Consulate addresses are considered international.
APO and FPO addresses are not considered international. They are handled by the U.S. Military, and the shipping chart for domestic orders should be used when shipping to such addresses. All orders shipping to these destinations will ship U.S. First Class Mail only. We do not offer expedited shipping methods to APO or FPO addresses.
US TERRITORY ADDRESSES
Shipments to Guam, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Saipan are not considered international, and they follow guidelines for domestic shipments. All orders shipping to these destinations will ship U.S. Priority Mail only. We do not offer expedited shipping methods to U.S. territories.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and PayPal. When paying by credit card, the statement will note TREASURES for the payment. Please note that if you are paying with PayPal, PayPal requires that we ship to the address registed on the PayPal account; therefore, we will only ship to the address or addresses that are on your PayPal account. If you have recently moved, please be sure to update your PayPal account with your current address. If you would like your order shipped to your work address, please add it to your PayPal account. Please note that orders paid via PayPal E-check are different from a normal PayPal Payment and can delay shipment of your order by as much as two (2) weeks. Please plan accordingly if making payment via PayPal E-Check.
We want you to be happy with the purchases you make at treasuredbirthdays.com. If you are not satisfied, you may return an item within ten (10) days of the shipment's receipt provided it is new and unopened. Due to the nature of many of our products, we cannot accept returns on opened items. Returned items that are opened will NOT receive a refund. Unfortunately, we cannot refund shipping charges.
To return an item, please use the contact us portion of our website or e-mail us
and request an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number. Upon receipt of your request, we will process your return and contact you with how, when and where to return your item. Unauthorized Returns without an RMA number will NOT receive a refund. RMA numbers are only valid for 10 days after they have been issued. Returns received with an RMA number after the 10 day period will NOT receive a refund. Please note that your RMA number is specific to the item(s) it is issued for and cannot be used to return unauthorized merchandise. If you need to return additional items after requesting an RMA number, please contact us to have another RMA number issued.
Personalized and custom items are non-refundable.
FDA regulations prevent the return of edible items, even if they are new and unopened. This includes but is not limited to Edible Icing Sheets, Sanding Sugars, Sprinkles, Quins, Sugar Decorations, etc. Sales of these items are FINAL.
If you return something that has been opened, used, worn, altered, is missing items, or is without the original packaging or garment tag, it cannot be credited back to your account, and will NOT receive a refund. Keep in mind that there may be a minimum 15% restocking fee for returned items that fall outside our normal return guidelines, including unauthorized refused packages and unauthorized returned packages. There is also a minimum 15% restocking fee if four or more of one item is ordered and returned.
Shipping charges will be applied to orders which received free or promotional shipping when purchased and the returned items cause the order total to fall below the qualifying free shipping minimum. Your refund credit will be for the amount of the merchandise returned, minus the actual shipping charges.
Order shortages and/or damages, as well as any problem with your order, must be reported within three (3) days of receipt of shipment. Please document damages with photos. In order to receive a credit for the damaged items, please send a snapshot of the damage to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you receive an item that has been damaged in transit, take a photo of the damaged item and the shipping carton and submit it with your request for a refund within three (3) days of receipt. We cannot process a refund without this information.
In order to process your return as quickly as possible, please be sure to send your return via a traceable method to the correct address. If you return the item without the ability to track the delivery and we don't receive the item, we will not be responsible for refunding the order.
How long will it take to receive my refund? Once your return has been received, allow 2-3 weeks for your refund to be processed.
Please note: Costume styles can change without notice due to a change in the manufacturer's production. These changes, no matter how slight, are beyond our control nor are we given advance notice by the manufacturer of these changes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We'll post any changes made to costumes in the web site descriptions and images as soon as we find out about them. Thank you for being patient with us with this issue. Costumes are non-refundable after October 10.
Many of the items on our site are of a unique nature, such as: Edible Icing Wraps and Designs, Royal Frosting Flowers, and Sugar Decorations. Items of this nature can and do vary slightly in manufacturing. Just as fabrics can have a dye lot, these items can vary from batch to batch as well as within the batch due to the nature of the products they are created from. In addition, they may occasionally contain a slight imperfection. We will never knowingly send a glaring imperfection; however, slight imperfections are the nature of the product and may occur occasionally. Thank you for your understanding.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES
Because we offer rapid order processing, in most cases, we cannot make changes to your order once it has been submitted. We understand that sometimes, a change can occur that would cause you to need to cancel your order. We want to assist you as best we can. If your order has not yet shipped, we will attempt (but cannot guarantee) to cancel your order and refund your purchase minus a 75 cent cancellation fee. Unfortunately, the payment processing company keeps a fixed fee whether the order is shipped or not. If we are able to cancel your order, you will receive an email confirmation of the cancellation and subsequent refund, minus the fee kept by the payment processing company.
We do our very best to make sure our products are as close to the exact product as possible in both our product images and descriptions. However, certain circumstances may cause actual product size and color to vary from that presented on our website. Due to the many variations in computer monitors and internet browsers, product colors may appear somewhat different on various monitors. Color reproduction from computer to computer and across internet connections is not precise.
